Compare two usages
Use sense comparison when the same expression occurs in two passages. Use claim comparison when the question is whether the statements make the same commitment.
Supply both passages#

HTTP equivalent: POST /v1/compare. Each passage must contain the target. Both resolutions use one pinned semantic release for the request.
Read the relation#
same_candidate means both passages selected the same candidate sense. different_candidates means different candidates were selected. unresolved means at least one passage did not support a selection.
sameSenseProbability remains null. A relation is not a calibrated probability, an agreement verdict, or proof about intended meaning.
Show both sides#
Keep the two passages and candidate glosses side by side. Let the user inspect the alternatives before accepting the comparison. If they disagree, preserve the original results rather than rewriting an accepted sense.
